ABOUT WOMEN is an artistic, social, and demand project created by the artist Katia Muñoz. One of its main objectives is to contribute to the visibility of artists – especially creative women, create a network of information and promote interaction between artists and society on the subject of women.

This is how it stars The International Mail Art Project about Women. A collaborative project that begins with virtual calls inviting creative people (men and women) to send their postcards as part of the itinerant exhibition that travels through different cities like Amsterdam, Karlsruhe, Santa Marta, Bucaramanga, Barcelona, Madrid, Lugo, Freudenstadt, León y Bogota.
So far the organization has received over 2,200 postcards with the participation of nearly 500 artists from all continents. A true interaction between artists. The full installation is an impressive big wall dedicated to the feminine world. Which sometimes tells story loudly, sometimes whispering. It is a collection of meanings and visions of real and contemporary female world.
ABOUT WOMEN es un proyecto artístico, social y reinvindicativo creado por la artista Katia Muñoz. Uno de sus principales objetivos es contribuir a la visibilidad de los artistas, especialmente las mujeres creativas, crear una red de información y promover la interacción entre artistas y la sociedad sobre el tema de las MUJERES.

Así es como surge The International Mail Art Project About Women, un proyecto de colaboración que comienza con llamadas virtuales que invitan a personas creativas (hombres y mujeres) a enviar sus tarjetas postales como parte de la exposición itinerante que recorre diferentes ciudades como Ámsterdam, Karlsruhe, Santa Marta, Bucaramanga, Barcelona, Madrid, Lugo, Freudenstadt. , León y Bogota.
Hasta el momento, la organización ha recibido más de 2,200 postales con la participación de casi 600 artistas de todos los continentes. Una verdadera interacción entre artistas. La instalación completa es un impresionante gran muro dedicado al mundo femenino. Lo que a veces cuenta la historia en voz alta, a veces susurrando. Es una colección de significados y visiones del mundo femenino real y contemporáneo.
